Rafting Near Estes Park

A Wanderlust Adventure will take you on a trip to remember rafting near Estes Park, CO.  While we are not actually located in Estes Park, we are located closer to the Cache La Poudre River, which is the closest river to Estes Park, , and we understand that this can be a bit confusing for those adventurers looking for a rafting adventure, while in Estes Park on vacation. But, we are just a short 80-minute drive from Estes Park.  From Estes Park you will drive the scenic Big Thompson Canyon, where you will be engulfed with beautiful scenery and possibly even see some wild life. From there you will head north to Fort Collins, where you will meet us at our shop, located under Vern’s Restaurant. We will gear you up and give you all the rafting tools you need to be successful on your rafting trip. From our store you will be taken to the only national “wild and scenic” river in the state of Colorado, the Cache La Poudre River, where your rafting adventure will begin.

There has been a lot of talk about all the rain we have been getting in Colorado, but don’t worry, it is nothing our experienced raft guides haven’t handled before. While the river is running higher than normal for this time of year, our raft guides are highly experienced, and always put the safety of our customers first. The Poudre Canyon, just 80-minutes from Estes Park, is lush and green because of all the moisture we have received. While rafting, our photographers will snap some shots of you enjoying your adventure and the scenery. These photographs will be the perfect keepsake to take home to always remember your Estes Park vacation. Also, because we have such good water levels during early season rafting, we are expecting our water levels to remain fun and exciting for the remainder of the rafting season. Our rafting season should be long, with no shortage of fun along the way.

With that being said, we are rafting a section of the Poudre River that we feel confident taking family and beginners down. We have multiple sections of the river we are able to raft to ensure everyone has a good time on their trip.
